This game is an introduction to the language of music and gives parents and teachers the opportunity to introduce and review (drill) music terms and symbols. Players get to "go fishing" for music terms and symbols using "bait" cards. The first player to "catch" all of the fish in his or her own lake has caught the limit and is the winner!

Primer level of Legato Lake:
-Introduction to the language of music.
-Teaches music terms and symbols.
-Variation of the classic Bingo game at 4 different levels (2 levels per game).
-Go "fishing" for music terms and symbols using "bait" cards.

Primer terms and symbols: 
Dotted half note, Whole note, Quarter note, Half note, Quarter rest, Going up (4 quarter notes going up a staff), Going down (4 quarter notes going down a staff), Music alphabet going up (ABCDEFG), Music alphabet going down (GFEDCBA), Piano (p), Forte (f), Mezzo forte, Space note, Line note, Treble clef, Bass clef, Middle C (bass clef), Middle C (treble clef),  Steps (3 quarter notes going up on a staff), Skips on lines (3 quarter notes going up staff as line notes), Skips in spaces (3 quarter notes going up staff as space notes), Tie, Staff,  Repeat sign, Double bar line.
