The first boxed set of Leonard Bernstein's Young People's Concerts, was among the most eagerly awaited DVD releases in classical music's history. The set has sold many tens of thousands of copies and continues to be extremely popular. Now, the magnificent second volume of the concerts, featuring 27 programs on nine DVDs and completing the series, is finally available! Bernstein's wonderful combination of exceptional performances and clear, inspirational commentary superbly convey his own excitement about music. This new set will create further enthusiasm for the genre among young and old music lovers alike.

These were first viewed nationwide on CBS televeision and eventually were telecast in over 40 countries around the world. The Young People's Concerts turned an entire generation into music lovers.

The DVD set comes with an enclosed Episode Guide which lists each disc and program, the original broadcast date, helpful synopsis of each program and listing of all the pieces performed in each program. Black and white photos are also included.
