This is a live-action look at the life and inspirations of Hungarian composer Franz Liszt in the mid-1800s and in the Pest section of Budapest. A young Liszt, acclaimed for his work as a pianist, longs to create his own music. It's a tale of a great man who still has much to learn from a gifted boy. He finds new meaning in his life when he meets the gypsy boy Josy, a talented young street violinist he decides to teach.

The DVD is in English, Spanish and French languages and includes "The Making of" footage and historical notes.
