Recorder Rumble
An Interactive Recorder Game
By Jeanette Morgan
CD compatible with all IWBs
Grades 3 - 6

Recorder Rumble is an exciting way to foster and assess music-reading and recorder-playing skills. This interactive game includes 6 levels. Each level includes two activities. The first is a collaborative game of chance wherein students are presented with 6 examples, roll a die to see which example they will play, and are awarded points based on how they play. If you like, you can then proceed to a Lightning Round in which students are presented with a melodic pattern to sight read and earn points. Each level includes 24 four-beat examples which will appear randomly in both activities.

This CD has been designed for use with Adobe Flash Player.

Level - Pitches - Rhythms:
1 B, A quarter notes and rests
2 C, A quarter notes/rests and paired eighth notes
3 B, A, G add half notes to above
4 B, A, G, C same as Level 3
5 B, A, G, C, D add half rest to Level 3
6 B, A, G, C, D, low E add whole notes to Level 5
