How loud is this drum, would it be alright for a classroom?
A shopper on Aug 22, 2011
Best Answer: I've used this drum at home with family and friends for impromptu drum circles. The other drums in the circle are frame drums, tambourines and larger standing drums as well as other smaller hand percussion instruments. This drum is loud enough to be heard above the others while playing in unison. I've not tried playing this drum by itself in a classroom, or in a building with multiple rooms, so I can't say if this drum alone would disrupt neighbors. But I do think it could be used as part of a music class, and assume that the collective sound of the other instruments might be heard in the hallway or adjacent rooms. Let me know if you have other questions.
