This 10" Remo Festival tubano is designed with the beginning percussionist in mind. Remo's Festival line tubanos nest inside one another for easy portability. The shells are also shorter to allow smaller, younger players to comfortably play the drum. The shells are constructed with Remo's Acousticon material that is made in the USA from 100% recycled wood fibers. Festival tubanos come outfitted with Remo's pre-tuned Fiberskyn 3 drumheads, meaning that drums of the same size may not sound exactly alike.

Features of Remo Festival Tubanos include:

  • Fiberskyn 3® head for quality sound and playability
  • Acousticon® shell that is made of 99.9% recycled wood materials; meaning that they will withstand climate changes, exuberant playing, and will be a long-lasting addition to your percussion collection.
  • Shoulder strap is included
  • Available in three sizes: 18”x10”, 17” x 8”, and 15”x6”
  • Designed for the three sizes to nest inside one another for easy storage
  • Available in three unique finishes: Island, Rainbow, and Twinings (pictured)

Does it have legs?
jane s on Apr 13, 2012
Best Answer: The Remo festival drums do not have legs – they sit flat on the ground. The drum comes with a strap so it can be worn while being played. Alternatively, our drumming consultant recommends sitting in a chair, crossing your ankles (feet should be just slightly ahead of your knees), and placing the drum at the spot where your ankles cross, which puts the drum in a correct playing position.
