This 10" Remo Festival tubano is designed with the beginning percussionist in mind. Remo's Festival line tubanos nest inside one another for easy portability. The shells are also shorter to allow smaller, younger players to comfortably play the drum. The shells are constructed with Remo's Acousticon material that is made in the USA from 100% recycled wood fibers. Festival tubanos come outfitted with Remo's pre-tuned Fiberskyn 3 drumheads, meaning that drums of the same size may not sound exactly alike.

Features of Remo Festival Tubanos include:

  • Fiberskyn 3® head for quality sound and playability
  • Acousticon® shell that is made of 99.9% recycled wood materials; meaning that they will withstand climate changes, exuberant playing, and will be a long-lasting addition to your percussion collection.
  • Shoulder strap is included
  • Available in three sizes: 18”x10”, 17” x 8”, and 15”x6”
  • Designed for the three sizes to nest inside one another for easy storage
  • Available in three unique finishes: Island (pictured), Rainbow, and Twinings

I just love drums--especially when they are on sale! And, the kid jungle pic ones i have are wonderful for therapy but I now will have a "grown-up" version to play in other venues.

Is there a carrying/ storage case available for this size tubano?
A shopper on Apr 29, 2013
Best Answer: At this time, there is not a carrying case available that fits those drums well. The Basic Beat tube drum bags would hold the nested Remo Festival drums, but the bag would be much longer than the drums.

I bought a whole bunch of these drums to use for a drum circle. How can they support them while sitting in a chair? The drums are short and the kids have a hard time tilting them. It is very difficult for them to hold them between their knees. Any thoughts?
A shopper on Oct 6, 2012
Best Answer: You could have the students use the strap and lay the drum across their lap, you could have the students put the strap over their head (like a saxophone neckstrap) and have the drum hang between their knees. Those suggestions came from our drumming consultant.

I have the removable head tubanos for my classroom but due to budgets and my desire to have more kids' hands on drums i'm considering these. Do you think the tones will fit with the tunable ones?
A shopper on Sep 9, 2012
Best Answer: We only have one pre-tuned Tubano so I am not sure how it would fit with the tunable ones.
That said, the tone of the pre-tuned drum is very nice and warm.
