I love these drum sticks for my son to use on the remo drums. They are well made and do not damage things if he hits other things :)

loved the ones I already had - they can also be used on Orff instruments with primary students - easy to hold correctly

Two small boys need soft headed drum sticks. Hopefully a little safer than harder ones.

Inexpensive elementary music mallet for any drum.

It's a better mallet for the Remo drum. And a great teether too :-)

Any kid can chew on it and it is indestructible.

I have the large Lollipop Drum but lost the stick. I am a speech therapist that works with children under the age of 4 and I like the safety features of this stick.

Got to have two drum sticks if your going to be a serious drummer!

This is most affordable and fun for drum circles when I can not afford the more professional/expensive American Drum P82 for my larger 30+ drum circle use. These support any ages involvement in play without worrying about their hand conditions (arthritis, etc).

for an extra

We've been doing drum circles with kids in CT for years and these have been an essential mallet for a variety of drums. Drool resistant!

does anyone know if a small child bites off a piece of the spungy mallet head is it toxic?
A shopper on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The mallet heads are non-toxic.
I like this mallet, but I'm looking for something harder... more like a bouncy ball at the end of the stick. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Angela B on Apr 26, 2012
BEST ANSWER: You might try a medium rubber mallet made for marimba; there are many brands available. You will find that they are quite a bit moe expensive than the student types, but they are available in many grades of hardness from soft to hard rubber, or wound with cord or yarn for a variety of sound colors.
