This book and CD teaches students grades 5-8 to aurally identify rhythm patterns and instruments from Africa, India, Cuba, and Brazil; gives them some geographical, historical and cultural background and perspective; and helps them improve their overall music skills.
Teacher's Guide -contains the vocabulary words and content for each unit, reproducible vocabulary and map worksheets, and the questions for the Rhythms of the World For 100 game.
CD - includes over 80 authentic music examples referenced in the Teacher's Guide and needed for the Country Quest Sound Sequences game.

Question Cards for the Rhythms of the World For 100 game.
Each Country Quest Sound Sequence has 10 different music examples. Students will mark their player cards with a token (not provided) to identify which region the sound is from. The Cuban and Brazilian quadrants on the card each have 2 separate marking areas as well to identify specific styles within those countries if desired.
