A collection of rounds and partner songs, most with vocal melodies composed or adapted by Hammil. Songs range from joyful to whimsical to serious with memorable melodies. The melodies are notated with chord symbols. Suggestions on singing rounds, including thoughts on interaction are provided. Extended definitions of the distinction between canons, rounds, catches, partner songs and African-style cyclical song, are given as well as represented in this collection.

A CD of the songs is included. Performers are adults and children (on a few songs) with simple, well done accompaniments. No accompaniment tracks.
