Introducing alto recorder to recorder and Orff ensembles.

Alto recorder parts are written with a limited pitch set for beginning players. The soprano parts are more challenging and for more experienced players. Each folksong in the collecion includes an optional Orff ensemble accompaniment. Guitar chords are provided in most arrangements. Lyrics are also given. The final two pieces are alto duets for more accomplished recorder players who have mastered the notes in the preceding arrangements. A teacher's score and student part (with permission to copy for a class) are given for each piece. Teaching suggestions are also included.
