Singing and Playing at Christmas Vol. 3
European Christmas Carols with suggestions for Festive settings
Music for Children series Supplement
By Gunild Keetman and Minna Ronnefeld
35 pages

European Christmas carols with suggestions for festive settings. This collection meets the demand for dance pieces in class teaching that are not too ambitious but are of good quality. Pieces are aimed at junior and secondary school students, but the pieces may also be used at more advanced levels. Simple dances suited to the music may be created and performed by children and teachers.

The songs can be sung or played on the sorpano recorder. The second recorder part is planned for the teacher; it can be played with the remaining accompanying parts or, if necessary, it can replace these parts. Lyrics are in English.
