8 authentic folk songs and games collected by Cheryl Lavender during a 1996 trip to South Africa. Songs are for unison voices, with additional 2-part, 3-part, and 4-part arrangements for treble voices on 5 songs. The text is in the original language and in English. Included in the book are teaching and performance suggestions, photos, instrumental accompaniments for percussion and/or mallet instruments, and movement patterns. Permission is given to photocopy songs and accompaniments for instructional use.
