Sonor mobile stand - this universal stand will work for any Sonor diatonic or chromatic xylophone or metallophone (NOT for other brands of Orff instruments). It also works for the new style of Sonor Primary Line instruments (**new style only**; each available separately); or for the Sonor short-scale bass xylophone (item 201736, available separately). Directions for the stand base and also the adapter sets are included. The slider-bar (for width adjustment) has markings so that you can see how long the base needs to be for each instrument. Height-adjustable.

Please note:

You MUST purchase separate adapters for this stand - it does not come ready for an instrument. See the following list for the adapters you need (each available separately):

250003 - for soprano/alto diatonic instruments
250001 - for soprano/alto chromatic instruments
250004 - for bass diatonic instruments
250002 - for bass chromatic instruments

I need a stand for my contrabass C bar. Is this the one I need? I purchased some great ones last year for my Xylos and Metallophones, but they don't quite work for the big contrabass bar.

I have 3 of these stands for my Bass Xylophones. One of my screws with the handle has gone missing and the stand came apart. I tried a regular screw from the hardware store but it isn't working. Do you sell replacement screws with the round handle?

I have a Sonor Global Beat Double Bass Xylophone, this stand says it works with any Sonor bass instruments but the connectors are for the ones with metal brackets on the side. Is there a different adapter for the Global Beat instruments?
Amanda C on May 26, 2016
Best Answer: We would suggest the Basic Beat Universal Orff Stand for your instrument:

We have just received 2 Sonor Tenor Xylophones. Will this stand work for them?
Cathy on Apr 13, 2016
Best Answer: This will work if your instruments have the silver metal brackets on each end piece.
However, you will need the additional adapter which is sold separately:
