Description

Sonor Meisterklasse KS 50 P Deep Bass Bar - Pitch C

Looking for a top of the line, premium Orff instrument? Look no further than Sonor's Meisterklasse series. Meisterklasse bars are made from genuine rosewood and overtone tuned for premium sound quality and intonation. Resonator box includes tuning adjuster to tightly control frequencies and volume within room acoustics. Resonator boxes also include special feet to provide optimum resonance.

Deep Bass bars resonate at the same octave as a deep bass xylophone or metallophone. Mallets are not included with these bass bars, but we recommend using a soft yarn bass bar mallet, like the Basic Beat mallet, item 261021.

Sonor Meisterklasse KS 50 P Deep Bass Bars are made in 13 pitches - C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, Bb, B, and C1 (highest). If you're looking for something a little deeper, try the Sonor Meisterklasse NKS 60 P Contra Bass Bars - and if you want to go even lower, try the Sonor Meisterklasse NKS 100 P Sub-Contra Bass Bars!

I have the F bass bar. Now I have some money to get the C should I also get the A or the G?

BEST ANSWER: We would suggest the next bar be G. This give you the most consistency and options going forward.
I am interested in purchasing the D and G Bass bars, but am not seeing them listed here on the website. Will you please advise?

Thank you!

BEST ANSWER: C is the only deep bass bar offered as the "deep bass" bars are the same octave as those bars on the "deep bass" xylophone. There are three "Sub Contra" bars - C, D, E, and there are six "Contra Bass" bars - F, F#, G, A, Bb, and B. The "Deep Bass" C completes the octave.
