Does it comes with instructions to put up or Could a 6 year old put it together?
A shopper on Jan 15, 2014
Best Answer: I ordered a bunch of the stands to use in my classroom. I keep them in a big bin, folded up, in the 2 pieces that they break down into. I don't use the bags at all. I don't remember if they contained assembly instructions. As far as ease of assembly, it's easy for adults. I have shown my students how to put the stands together and adjust them many times. The older ones 10 and 11 year olds remember. The younger ones need to be reminded, and they are 7 and 8. I have not allowed my 6 year old students to adjust or assemble the stands as there are too many places they can pinch fingers or not understand how it goes together or comes apart, in a busy classroom setting. Having said all that, it is possible for a clever, thoughtful, attentive 6 year old to be shown how to assemble and put away the stand into the bag with adult supervision. I would be Leary of allowing an entire class of 6 year olds to do this.

What is the maximum height of this stand?
Steven B on Jan 30, 2013
Best Answer: From the floor to the shelf is 41.5 inches. It may be possible to get up to 42 inches, but it would not be very secure. From the floor to the top of the rack is 50 inches.

What is the removable "bookplate"?
A shopper on Oct 17, 2013
Best Answer: The upper portion of this stand, that holds the music, is removable. This makes the whole thing able to fold up and collaplse to fit into the small bag it comes with to make it portable.
