Does it comes with instructions to put up or Could a 6 year old put it together?

Best Answer:I ordered a bunch of the stands to use in my classroom. I keep them in a big bin, folded up, in the 2 pieces that they break down into. I don't use the bags at all. I don't remember if they contained assembly instructions. As far as ease of assembly, it's easy for adults. I have shown my students how to put the stands together and adjust them many times. The older ones 10 and 11 year olds remember. The younger ones need to be reminded, and they are 7 and 8. I have not allowed my 6 year old students to adjust or assemble the stands as there are too many places they can pinch fingers or not understand how it goes together or comes apart, in a busy classroom setting. Having said all that, it is possible for a clever, thoughtful, attentive 6 year old to be shown how to assemble and put away the stand into the bag with adult supervision. I would be Leary of allowing an entire class of 6 year olds to do this.
Pretty easy to figure out. My 4th and 5th graders use them regularly with no trouble. I showed them once. The only tricky part is that you have to lift the locking mechanism when you want to fold the tripod legs down as you put it away for storage.
It is very easy to put together. There are just two pieces and you insert the top, music holding piece, into the bottom stand piece. The legs then fold out and the busic holder folds out and in easily. Yes, a six year old could do this.
