Our Perspective

The clear bright tone of this chime is amazing, and the sound lasts and lasts while staying perfectly in tune. The calming tone sounds out over other instruments or as a single tone and the price is as surprising as the quality. I love this chime! - Melissa

Sound has a huge impact on our environment and our spirit, yet it is often overlooked.  Using ancient systems of tuning and musical scales, Woodstock products take the listener on peaceful journeys.  The Woodstock Environments Collection has been carefully chosen to give the discerning customer a selection of quality products, all of which contribute to Healing Through Sound.

This chime emits a powerful tone of singular beauty.

Why did you choose this?
West Music Store
We use this in our classes for our "mindfulness" moments to help us clear our minds and focus on the present moment. We take a deep breath in and out, close our eyes then listen to the chime until we no longer can hear the sound. Then we put up our hand. This signals that we are focused and our minds are clear and calm.

I had seen this used in a Responsive Classroom workshop. It was a wonderful transition tool -- and its sound really is calming, unlike the harsh sound of a desk bell, for example. I would recommend this to any teacher! Silence at the sound of the bell. :) It resonates for a while, so it's a nice way to quiet any noise.

what does it sound like? It is hard to decide whether or not to buy this without knowing what it sounds like.
