This is an informative clinic that will present the history of the ukulele and tell about its recent popularity taking the nation by storm. Bring your uke along and join in strumming some basic chords to familiar tunes. Don’t have a uke? Join us anyway and get a chance to try one out!

Summer Music Education workshops are almost here! Contact the University and see what soprano or alto recorder method will be required and purchase the book and a recorder to get a head start on this portion of your class.

Jonnie Cohen teaches acoustic and electric guitar, electric bass and music theory at West Music Coralville. His background includes 11 years of private guitar and bass lessons, and he started playing piano and singing at a young age. He also has played trumpet for eight years, and is a multi-instrumentalist. He's also a proud Eagle Scout.
