Abiyoyo Returns (Book)

The sequel to the children's classic "Abiyoyo," "Abiyoyo Returns" features the same town that now has grown by leaps and bounds. The villagers have chopped down so many trees that the village now experiences flooding, and they must build a dam before the everything washes away. Sitting right where the dam would be is a boulder too big for anyone to move. Anyone, that is, except the somewhat scary giant Abiyoyo. American singer and songwriter Pete Seeger has teamed up with Paul Dubois Jacobs to share this story that teaches about tolerance, acceptance, working together, and taking care of the Earth. An excellent tale for storytime!
