Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course: Christmas Piano Book 1

Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course is targeted to the beginning adult piano student who wants to learn to play quickly using a chord approach to learning. Using familiar songs, this method teaches notes and chords for both hands so that students can play more than single-line melodies.

In Level 1, students quickly learn note reading beginning in C Major position.  Throughout Level 1, students also learn G and middle C positions, intervals, scales, chords, and keys of C Major, G Major, F Major, c minor, and d minor.

Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course: Christmas Piano coordinates with Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course. These books include popular holiday songs presented in progressive order, so that students can correlate the lessons and tunes accordingly. Optional duet parts are also included that can be played by a teacher, student, or friend!
