Alfred's Basic Piano Library: Lesson Book 1A

Alfred’s Basic Piano Library was created to be a musically sound and enjoyable method series for beginning pianists of all ages. The Basic Piano Course Level 1A books emphasizes proper posture and hand position as well as interval recognition with note reading exercises. Level 1A begins with pre-reading tunes, followed by melodies with notes only in the treble clef or bass clef, and ends with students reading simple melodies on the grand staff in C and G Major.
