Bach to the Rescue!!!

Inspiration for great musical works can come out of a wide range of sources - from unrequited love to the coronation of a new leader. But some songs come about to satisfy a more practical need. Such is the case for Bach's famous Goldberg Variations. This tale is a humorous account of what may have transpired between a very rich dude who had trouble sleeping, and his personal harpsichord player, named Goldberg. Bach eventually steps in and saves the day (well...night, actually) when he delivers several pieces of music that help lull the very rich dude to sleep.
