The Steven Mead Ultra series is the newest evolution in baritone and euphonium mouthpieces for players looking for a sound that has more brilliance than the standard Ultra Series or classic Steven Mead Series. The outer shape has been changed to add more mass which increases projection. An evolved cup shape combines the best elements of a funnel shape and bowl shape to produce a classic euphonium/baritone sound with better support and response in the upper registers. The rim has been altered to have a slightly sharper inner edge which increases articulation response and accuracy.
