"Boomin' the Basics"by Tom Anderson is an amusing yet educational resource for introducing elementary students to Boomwackers and reinforcing music fundamentals like keeping a steady beat, high/low, fast/slow and loud/soft! Beginning readers follow full-color song charts of instrument pictures, while more advanced readers play from musical notation. This collection features ten songs in a variety of musical styles, and five of the songs also include vocal parts. The online materials offer audio recordings with and without classroom parts, and PDFs of the instrument and vocal parts that are reproducible and projectable!
