Bought Me a Cat

Bought Me A Cat is a fun-filled collection of folk music, games, and activities to develop rhythmic, melodic, vocal, motor, social, and improvisational skills. Most of the songs are traditional folk tunes and melodies. Appropriate for grade K-6, the book includes information on the notation of the songs and suggested grade levels for each song or activity. Each song gives the origin, lyrics and melody line (in stick notation), formation and actions (when appropriate), abstract, reading pieces, and pedagogic use.

This volume has more pedagogy included than the other three volumes in the series - My Little Rooster (816937), John the Rabbit (816939), and The Little Black Bull (816940).
