Canya Conga? (Revised)

"Canya Conga?" is a collection of fun and engaging conga (or tubano) drum activities for grades 4-8. The book has extensive lesson plans including objectives, process and extension possibilities, plus full scores for every activity. All of the pieces in this book are played by unpitched percussion and drums in the conga family, though tubanos are excellent substitutes. If you don't have enough instruments, try them with body percussion! Another option is to use the Orff instruments set up in pentatonic scale and be creative.

The online materials include image files of each full-size music score and a full color visual of each activity suitable for making transparencies or for use on a Smartboard.
