Lesson Book 2 continues seamlessly from where Lesson Book 1 leaves off. It introduces three-string chords along with the natural notes on strings four, five, and six.

Additional new concepts include:

• eighth notes
• chromatics (sharps, flats and naturals)
• pick-up notes
• ties
• and rests

Students are encouraged to strum chords to accompany the melody whenever possible. Many optional teacher duets are included. (More advanced students will enjoy playing the teacher duet parts as well!)
