Global Grooves: Exploring World Rhythms, Songs and Styles

Working with teachers from all over the world (Indonesia, Egypt, Tanzania, Greece, Mexico, Hawaii, Germany, Argentina, Cameroon, Cuba, Antiqua, and the British Isles), author of the World Music Drumming Curriculum, Will Schmid, created "Global Grooves" as an additional resource in the World Music Drumming repertoire. This collaboration provides a unique and authentic vibe to these fun and engaging drumming ensembles! The book offers helpful lesson plans, reproducible song sheets and instrument parts, and piano/vocal arrangements. The enclosed Enhanced CD provides performance and instrumental-only tracks for each song, as well as PDFs of the song sheets and instrument parts to project or print!
