The Innovative Percussion Jim Casella IP1003X Hard Heavy Marimba Mallets are a heavier version of the IP1003, built with extra weight in the core and an oversized birch handle (11/32"diameter) to provide for a brighter articulation and extra projection. These mallets are designed to meet the demands of both the indoor and outdoor marching percussion ensemble. Each marimba model features a rubber core for maximum projection and the warmest fundamental tone. These mallets are also wrapped with a custom synthetic yarn which offers a full, warm sound characteristic with proven strength and durability.
This series of keyboard mallets are designed to the specifications of leading marching percussion specialist Jim Casella.
