This book focuses on musical experiences with Colors and Shapes.;It includes lessons for 2- and young 3-year olds as well as lessons for 3- and 4-year olds. Lessons use developmentally-appropriate activities and have standard musical content such as steady beat development, vocal awareness, high/low, quiet/soft, fast/slow, etc. Movement is linked to sound in every lesson. A one-page outline format allows quick and easy in-class reference. Reproducible pages are included. 

The included 2 CDs have all the songs of the books recorded. Songs are familiar or piggy-back tunes set to new lyrics and are in age-appropriate styles, ranges and text, both accompanied and a capella. For music teachers or preschool teachers.
