Journey Around the Globe with Recorder!

Recorder playing is an integral part of the music classroom experience in Journey Around the Globe with Recorder!,an engaging collection of lessons for soprano recorder. The first two notes taught are G and E. Notes are introduced individually, in sequence, and in a musical context. The songs selected come from a variety of countries, and students will learn about the cultures from singing the songs, playing the music and games, and participating in the dances. The included CD-ROM has PowerPoint slides for the steps in the lessons as well as to provide a brief look at the different countries and cultures presented in the book. Phonetic spellings are included for songs in languages other than English.
