Description
Get students active and interested in orchestral music with Kids Can Listen, Kids Can Move! This creative resource engages elementary aged kids with classical favorites that include movement activities for marching, dancing, trotting, skipping, jumping, hiding, sleeping, playing instruments, entering class, and saying goodbye. The activities incorporate songs (classical themes with new lyrics), dance, games, triangles, optional stick horses or kangaroo puppets, children's story books, tambourines, jingle bells, parachute, shaker eggs, guiro tone block, rhythm sticks, hand drums (or Sound Shapes), maraca, glockenspiel, xylophone, scarves, listening map, and finger cymbals. The included CD has tracks to coordinate with each of the activities.
