Malletech Orchestral Series OR48R Xylophone Mallets Black

The Malletech Orchestral Series of mallets is the answer for models targeted for specific excerpts, as well as a movement toward lighter, smaller heads for certain applications. The mallets were designed in collaboration with William James, principal percussionist of the St. Louis Symphony. Will has expanded the original Orchestral line into a vast selection of sounds and tone colors, with many different materials, weights, sizes and handle types.

The Malletech OR48R features a 1-1/8"Black Plastic Ball on a rattan shaft. A very hard mallet for Xylophone, Glock and multi-percussion. NOTE: Improper use may cause damage to rosewood Xylophones.
