The story: young Christoph exchanges letters with his uncle about the chaotic arrival of Mr. Beethoven into his house. Christoph doesn't know what to think at first of the outlandish antics of the wild musician living upstairs. In the end, he is won over by the music and actual incidents from the great composer's life. Richly set in 19th century Vienna, Beethoven Lives Upstairs is a touching tale of music, friendship, and genius. Based in part on historical fact, this story features more than 25 performed excerpts of Beethoven's best-loved works.
