This 2-CD set of jazz music for Orff instruments, was arranged by Doug Goodkin and performed by the children of The San Francisco School 1985-2004. It is a companion to the book Now's the Time: Teaching Jazz to All Ages (item 805090, available separately). Featuring Doug's students from 3 to 14 years old, these recordings will help teachers bring the arrangements off the page and into the classroom. Teachers and students alike can hear what it might sound like if every child in school were initiated into the joy of playing jazz.
