Discover the Instruments of the Orchestra Posters By Michael Mertens
24 full-color laminated 9" x 12" posters featuring the instruments of the orchestra. Four instrument family posters (string, woodwind, brass, and percussion) show the complete orchestra on the front, with the position of that family's instruments highlighted in yellow. The back lists the instruments which make up that family, features that the family's instruments have in common, and how the instruments are used in the orchestra. Each instrument poster features an instrument from one of the four orchestral families on the front of the poster while the back includes history of the instrument, "fun facts", and representative musical works featuring the instrument. Also included is one conductor poster describing the role of the conductor and the movements the conductor uses to lead the orchestra.
