Description
The Etudes with Technique series is designed to help pianists develop effective technique and listening skills. Each book is divided into units, with each unit focusing on one technical concept that introduces them to being aware of the feeling and gestures they produce in their fingers, hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, and upper arms. After the technical concept is introduced, students learn two short exercises, followed by etudes that reinforce the musical ideas and promote technical mastery.
