Music Proficiency Pack 5 Melody Mice

Students will quickly master the basics of melodic dictation with this versatile manipulative kit, designed to be fun, child-friendly, and effective in promoting competency in the elements of musical understanding while reinforcing the National Music Standards. Melody Mice aligns with National Standards #5 (reading and notating music) and #6 (listening to, analyzing, and describing music).

This pack includes 30 red cardstock activity boards, each 8.5" x 11" size, and printed with a mouse holding seven balloons. Each balloon shows one 4/4 measure of a treble clef melody using natural notes from middle C up to G (each game board has the same melody choices). The game boards can be laminated for increased durability. A directions sheet gives activity ideas, such as having students find a melody pattern with repeated tones.
