The Musicplay Grade 3  teacher's guide is on PowerPoint (PPT) for use by teachers with a Smartboard, IWB or computer/projector. The PowerPoints are much clearer than scanned documents, and the audio is inserted – just click and play. The PPT includes a hyperlinked index, making it simple to find the song you want.Musicplay is a play-based sequential curriculum that follows the calendar year and will work with Kodaly and Orff programs.

The weekly lessons outline the new concepts that will be taught, those that will be reviewed, and include seasonal and holiday repertoire. Songs and games are chosen to teach musical concepts and world cultures as well as provide songs for special days throughout the year.

Each Teacher's Guide includes 4 - 6 full-length CDs. Performance songs on the CDs have performance and accompaniment tracks. Accompaniments include Orff arrangements, piano accompaniments and orchestrated accompaniments. The Orff Source books, available separately, contain Orff instrument arrangements.The Listening Resource Kits, available separately, correlate with each grade. Teacher Guides for Kindergarten and Middle School contain listening guides.

Musicplay supports and enhances science, social studies and language arts curriculums. The Digital Resources are for use with computer and projector, IWB or Smartboards. Each song in Musicplay is given in 3 formats: PowerPoints, Smarboard files and QuickTime movies. Many slides have been added to teach musical skills and elements of music, create rhythm and melodic compositions, and to assess. Color-coded Boomwhacker melodies, solfa practice slides, note name practice and many Orff arrangements are added. Kids demo movies are included for many singing games and dances.
