Piano Theory Level 1

The David Carr Glover piano books provide a steady approach to learning to play the piano. With folk and popular tunes, classical pieces, and original pieces, the books in this series help the developing student play with musicality and proper technique.

The level 1 begins with a review of the primer level. Students then proceed to play pieces in C Major position, following by F Major and G Major position. Left hand harmonization is incorporated into playing. Students are also introduced to eighth notes, eighth rests, and using the damper pedal.
