Basic Dalcroze game-forms help students translate aural sensation into physical action. Develops rapid communication between the ears (listen), the brain (analyze), and the body (act). 3 basic game-forms are presented and analyzed: Quick Reaction (similar to Simon Says); Follow (develops the ability to adjust physical reactions in a flexible & quick manner to rapidly changing musical situations); and Interrupted Canon (similar to Follow the Leader - recreating what is just observed while simultaneously observing the next sequence of moves). Within these basic game-forms are many variations. Piano accompaniments are on the CD.
