How can I get an order confirmation?

When you place an order on our website, West Music sends an automatic email confirmation notifying you that we have received your order. This confirmation is sent from
If you do not receive an order confirmation, please check your junk mail or spam folder.
Orders sent to us by postal mail or fax do not automatically receive an order confirmation unless it is requested on the order.
If you would like to confirm a mailed order or faxed order, please clearly state that you are "confirming a previously placed order" in your correspondence. In the absence of this clarification, your order may be duplicated and you will be responsible for all shipping charges and return of merchandise.

How are shipping rates determined?

Shipping rates are determined by the subtotal dollar amount of the order. Rates for Standard, 2nd Day and Next Day Air for shipments within the United States, APO/FPO and US Territories are listed below.
Express shipping orders must be placed by 2:00 p.m. Central time to assure shipment the same day. Express orders placed after 2:00 p.m. Central time will ship the following business day.
Next Day and 2nd Day orders will be delivered Monday through Friday. To arrange for Saturday Delivery please call 800-397-9378. Additional charges will apply.

Flat Rates:

A shipping savings is available for some of our lighter, higher priced items. Additionally, some of our large items have an oversized item shipping rate. These will be indicated in the item description when applicable.


APO/FPO will ship via parcel post; standard shipping only


In-stock orders will ship within 2–4 business days of receipt of the order. Recorder orders will be processed within 48 hours of receipt. When choosing standard shipping, please allow 8 - 12 business days for an order to be delivered.

***2nd Day:

2nd day orders must include physical street address for 2 business day shipping; 2nd day orders to PO boxes may be delayed.

  • This item is ordered by request, order today! Lead times may vary.

"Ships from Another Warehouse"

  • This item ships from a warehouse other than ours. Lead times may vary.

"In Stock, Only X Left"

  • This item is in stock, but only has X inventory remaining.


  • This item is out of stock and no longer available.

"Limited Quantities Available"

  • This item has limited quantities available. This item may not be returned and is unable to be backordered.

"Out of Stock"

  • This item is out of stock and not currently available.

"Special Order"

  • This item can be ordered as a Special Order Only. Extended lead times and restocking fees or return limits may apply.
