This is a good, one piece recorder for the budget conscious educator or parent. As an educator, a one piece unit meant my students weren’t playing around with the foot or head joint as with two or three piece recorders. This Angel 101 recorder is a great way to introduce students to playing an instrument.
Featuring ABS resin, using a one-piece design, and Baroque-English fingering, this instrument will make it easy to learn to play recorder.
The body is constructed from a single black piece of ABS resin that uses double holes for low C and C#, and low D and D#.
To supply students with everything they need to get started playing the recorder the bundle includes a cleaning rod, fingering chart, and carrying bag with a fold over top.

I order about 200-300 of these babies every year, for the past 5 years, and I have had no problem using and teaching them to my students, grade 3-6. Excellent tone quality, and overall very well made. Plus, when you order over 100, shipping and handling are free. I have the students buy 2 recorders each, one for use in school and one for practice at home. I would not use or consider any other brand of recorder nor would I order from anywhere else except West Music as they offer the lowest price I've seen for this brand and model of soprano recorder.
