To help children recognize the notes, the bars use black and white coloring like piano keys. The keys also have each note written on them. The bars and frame have rounded edges to help ensure kids safety. Rubber pegs attach the bars to its sturdy wooden frame; the rubber pegs are removable, but they’re not easily removed. Two mallets come with the Glockenspiel.
