This instrument has been opened and typically used by an artist or group at a clinic or performance event (i.e. a State Educator show, or Industry Trade show booth. ) The instruments have not been previously owned, and with very few exceptions, are in original packaging. It may have scratches on the resonator boxes and minor blemishes on the bars. All bars are included.

Your Series 2000 Bass Metallophone comes with a Damper Bar that must be installed for proper bar seating and tone. The Damper Bar goes on the playing side of the instrument, with Low C on your left when you are facing it, as shown in the picture below. No extra tools are necessary. Using the hardware included with your BM 2000, screw the L-Bracket into the pre-drilled holes as shown. The Damper Bar slides onto the bracket with the grey rubber strip facing UP.
