Great for Adaptive Use
I'm a music therapist and have clients with little or no grasping capabilities. I can attach these shakers to their fingers to offer them an opportunity to play along easily with the music. In some cases, I have used these with clients who were unable to handle any sort of physical or sensory stimulation provided by other instruments. The bands on these are loose enough for comfort but still stay in place, and all the client has to do is move their hands minimally to produce a sound. I also have clients who throw anything they pick up, but have tolerated these and gone on to participate.
