Create incredible sound with budget-friendly prices with Basic Beat’s Yarn Mallets! A solid sound is produced by the pairs medium hardness. Covering the rubber head is blue yarn to dampen the sound of the mallet as it strikes the instrument. Music is then able to flow beautifully through the room without interruption of hearing the mallet strike xylophones or metallophones. Budding musicians will also be encouraged to use proper hand placement from the mallets tapered handgrips affixed to the end of the flexible shafts.

After having students use these and the Basic Beat (BBRM) 261013, I've definitely come to prefer these in the classroom. They hold up well to wear and tear much better than the Basic Beat competitor- years better.
