Did you know your new Bass Metallophone comes with a damper bar that must be installed for proper bar seating and tone. The damper bar fits on the playing side of the instrument, with low C on your left. No tools are necessary. Using the hardware included with your BM 2000, hand screw the L-bracket in the pre-drilled holes as shown. The damper bar slides onto the bracket with the grey rubber strip facing UP! Description
Studio 49 has decades of experience producing high quality instruments and the 2000 Series metallophones are a perfect example of this legacy. The premium 2000 Series instruments offer both high quality sound and craftsmanship. These instruments satisfy the highest musical standards and are excellent for use in music and grade schools.
The Bass Metallophone is set in diatonic C-A1, with included F# and Bb bars (16 total). Special alloyed aluminum bars are used in the legendary 2000 Series. All instruments have solid pine resonator boxes and handles for easy transportation. The handles also serve as the support point for the Studio 49 stands (Item #255671). Adjusting between instruments on the stands is easy. Instruments can be changed out with only the turn of a large wing nut, allowing uninterrupted instruction when interchanging between instruments. The Bass Metallophone also includes a damper bar that attaches to the resonator box.
