The Addams Family Young@Part (Perusal Pack)

The Addams Family Young@Part® is the authorized 65-70 minute edition of the Broadway musical for elementary and middle schools, and youth theatres. Through a series of workshops with industry professionals and actual kids, the Young@Part® musicals are tailor-made for younger actors. Song keys are changed where needed, and songs and scenes are edited for time and content while keeping the spirit of the original Broadway show intact. There are strong roles for both girls and boys and can feature any size ensemble/chorus, who are featured throughout the show.

Synopsis:
This original The Addams Family story is the stuff of fathers' nightmares. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams faces a nearly impossible task, something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.
