Vandoren V16 A5S+ Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece

V16 mouthpieces are inspired by the sounds of the greatest jazz players from the fifties to the present. The A5 facing is preferred by many great jazz soloists. Vandoren recommends that players use Java, V16, or ZZ reeds with strengths between 3.0 - 4.0 with this mouthpiece.

S+ Chamber: The new S+ chamber is the next step in the evolution of the V16 alto mouthpiece. The new S+ chamber offers a richer depth of sound while keeping the free-blowing nature and projection that characterizes the V16 alto models. The S+ chamber accommodates more air providing the musician greater flexibility and a wider array of colors with which to work. The new S+ chamber takes the place of the older V16 alto S series mouthpieces.
